Play Guide

• Mulligan hard to have the correct mana color combination (spell and lands). Major issue of this deck is that it's a dual color aggro deck in a format with poor mana correction.
• Never keep a 1 lander. Never!
• Winding Way should always be the last play.

Card Choices

• Bone Picker - High MV that can be cheated for 1 mana this is important against Spellstutter Sprite, has evasion and deathtouch and a good topdeck late game.
• Blisterpod and Nest Invader - Multiple Bodies, Ramp and both token can sac itself for Bone Picker requirement.
• Young Wolf - See Nested Shambler in Tested Card section.
• Falkenrath Noble - Pet card! Late game non-combat source of damage. Allows the deck to have a defensive strategy against bigger go wide decks like stompy and affinity.
• Fume Spitter - X/1 removal that can sacrifice itself for Bone Picker requirement.
• Ecstatic Awakener   - Big beater with card draw ability.
• Winding Way - Card Advantage. There's a conscious effort to put effects in creature spell in order to make it work (Edict - Fleshbag Marauder, Disenchant - Masked Vandal).
• Rotten Reunion - Trying out over Faerie Macabre, spell has flashback so it can still be used even if milled by Winding Way.

Tested Cards

• Bayou Groff - Bad against Counterspell and Snuff Out (2 for 1). Both cards are present in UB Faeries decklist (top deck).
• Mortician Beetle - Poor topdeck, needs sac outlet and lacks evasion. (Current Slot: Bone Picker)
• Nested Shambler - Has low floor but higher ceiling when combined with Rancor. Rancor is normally sided out against black decks to avoid 2 for 1 scenario thus failing to reach the ceiling, another thing is the ceiling scenario is most probably in a winning position already. (Current Slot: Young Wolf).

Sideboarding Guidelines

• Rancor - Boardout against MBC to avoid 2 for 1 scenarios. Don't board out all rancors in match with creature protection such as Obsidian Acolyte or Guardian of the Guildpact.
• Rite of Consumption - Bad against Counterspell due to it's extra cost.
• Fume Spitter - Boardout against decks with less X/1 creature like MBC.
• Winding Way - Boardout against matchups wherein we badly need to draw the sideboard cards such as Burn / Infect / Bogles.
• Duress - Board In against combo decks (Infect / Tireless Tribe) and control / tempo decks (Faeries).
• Fleshbag Marauder - Good vs flickers Ephemerate, Hexproof and Guardian of the Guildpact. Has a very good synergy with Unearth.
