Peanut gallery reporting in! I've been waiting for this, and I hope I'm not being obnoxious about it.

This note isn't a criticism, but just an observation. Erosion is the only common ever printed that needs three mana of the same color, and that was back in 1995. I don't know if there's some special reason why it doesn't happen, but Fisher of the Bog caught my eye for that reason. I don't know if it needs to be power-adjusted, but maybe reduce the color density? I leave this in your capable hands.

Undying Endurance feels to me more like a variant Gift of Immortality or Fool's Demise than Undying Rage. This feels like an uncommon, since it can keeps recurring itself and the creature it was attached to. I would suggest either pushing this up to uncommon as-is or adding an additional cost to the enchantment's self-recursion.

I love the design of Warning from Beyond, and it fits with Duelist very nicely.

Cruel Lessons takes the low cost of Sign in Blood and the speed of Blood Pact and puts them together. Probably not too powerful, but worth keeping an eye on, in my opinion.

I agree that Bog-Mad Warlock's spectacle cost should be . That would make it a decent side-grade to Elderfang Disciple, Liliana's Specter, and similar cards.

Thanks for posting these articles. It's a lot of fun watching the creative process, and I hope my thoughts are helpful in some small way.

With Jeska as a commander I would be really tempted to play Ogre Menial as an alternate win-con.

Fiery Mantle and Undying Rage are harder to get rid of than equipment.

I like the deck, but I'd like to make four suggestions:

Scaretiller can get you lands out of your graveyard, which is especially good since you'll probably discard a few and it triggers Quintorious, as well as being one of the only ways to land ramp in Boros and it does well with Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, and, if you want to add them, the Panoramas.

Reanimation Spells like Angelic Renewal , Breath of Life , False Defeat , or Resurrection are also pretty good for the deck too I'd say. They trigger Quintorious, can regrab a utility creature like a monarch card or a graveyard to hand card to double trigger if you need it, cheat out Ulamog's Crusher, or just basically cheat on Quintorious's Commander tax if he dies, although that is a bit risky but its better than paying 7 or 9.

Maybe also a card like Marshaling Cry as an extra board pump in case you need to go aggro in case you don't get Rally the Peasants. Its also better early game since you can cycle it away.

I understand that you are going for more combo than aggro, but if you want to get even more spirits, play some auras that return themselves back to hand when enchanted creature dies, like Fiery Mantle , Undying Rage , and Brilliant Halo . I'm the most shaky on them because they don't do anything without Quintorious, but with them they can grab an extra spirit per turn. Perhaps if you could include a Prismite Effect and an Impact Tremors effect, with Ashnods Altar and Starnhiem Courser, you can combo off with them by playing mantle on a Spirit, saccing the spirit, prismite effect filters and starhiem discounts so you can pay the one red to get mantle back and get another spirit, and get infinite Tremors triggers

Other than that, I really like the deck, although I'm not that great at these kinds of things either.

Nice to see this deck updated The easy cards to cut are the mana rocks as long as you add some land ramp like Skyshroud Claim other cards i would remove are the non elemental creatures which are just being big like Emissary of Grudges or the Crash of Rhino Beetles an other card i didn't mention but does this roll a lot better is Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar . it also being an elemental. So maybe remove 5 of the 7 mana rocjs you are running at two or 3/4 more land ramp cards and maybe fill the rest with some commander protection like the greaves or maybe a Temur Sabertooth . or some more lands like Myriad Landscape . The trick in building this deck is trying to find cards which fill 2 rolls at ones like the landscape or the Fertilid you now added. Instead of the Acidic Slime you can run Ingot Chewer which is slighlty more on flavour or maybe even both.

Other cards to cut in my opinion: Grapple with the Past you should be drawing like crazy and if you want graveyeard recursion there are better options. Rabid Bite you are in red so better removal is plentyfull. Undying Rage i don't really like enchantments in general and you are not trying to punch fast i think at least. Scute Mob very meta depended in my meta there is a stupid amount of removal so explosiveness and recursion are very important if you don't encounter much removal this could be great.

Hope it helps this was a bit less structured than i like to be so sorry.

One of my favorite cards in my Shattergang Brothers deck (or pretty much any deck really) is Feldon of the Third Path. It's a great way to recur value creatures, and even turns them into artifacts to give you more options sacrificing them to your commander.

I'm not sold on Undying Rage being the third-best recurring enchantment in this deck. Normally I wouldn't be a huge fan of Rancor either, but you have such a high density of heavy hitters that I think it's worth it. In place of Unstoppable Rage, I think either Fallen Ideal or Glistening Oil would be better. Glistening Oil would help your beaters kill at a much smaller size, while Fallen Ideal would be nice as a free sacrifice outlet to make sure creatures you want to recur make it to the graveyard.

One card that would fit really well in your build would be Pitiless Plunderer. It generates mana so you can activate Shattergang Brothers multiple times in a turn, and generates artifact tokens to serve as fodder for his ability.

Finally, another of my favorite cards for Shattergang is Deathbringer Thoctar. It lets you ping off 1-toughness creatures for free to make Shattergang's sacrifice triggers more impactful, and grows out of control really quickly as creatures die.

@LostDragon01 Thanks for the feedback! I really like your suggestion to put graveyard recursion in the deck and I will definitely implement this. The changelings is a good shout too :). As a style choice though I would rather maintain the likelihood of curving out for a turn 5 kill so I will have to pass on the other suggestions. As for the inclusion of cards like Undying Rage I think that 3cmc is a bit much for this type of effect and will instead include more allies/changelings over the one-time combat tricks :).

Fine deck! I see you have plan to win a game at least. And i see you love the vanilla creatures much.

When i first saw Resolute Blademaster, i was inspired to to make a deck on it, but failed when discover that have no card draw in commons. I want to make some suggestions to your deck through.

How about to add more Scry ability to your permanents? Darksteel Pendant, Seer's Lantern, Path of Ancestry

And more graveyard recursion, for more triggers or protection your expensive general? Angelic Renewal, Breath of Life, False Defeat

Also, Soltari Visionary cold be cool removal considering double strike.

Dont forget that changelings is Ally too! Avian Changeling, Fire-Belly Changeling

Bloodcrazed Neonate, Erdwal Ripper, Heirs of Stromkirk grows each turn. And with Double strike they grows twice faster!

Skirk Commando can triggered twice and kill creatures that player wont used as blockers

Some cantrip mana artifacts can give you buff at the start and let play Resolute Blademaster turn earlier, but in late game you can draw cards instead of them to play something else: Boros Cluestone, Commander's Sphere, Mind Stone

Some auras that returning to your hand better then one time tricks. Undying Rage more stable then Brute Force for example
