Good one seshiro_of_the_orochi. If you really want to up the synergy, sub in two more Syr Faren, the Hengehammer for Flaxen Intruder, four Wild Beastmaster for Ulvenwald Bear, and three more Exuberant Wolfbear for Paragon of Eternal Wilds. Syr Faren, the Hengehammer into Wild Beastmaster into Exuberant Wolfbear will give you a pretty sick attack step on turn 5 - especially if you throw in an Overrun. If I'm doing my math right, you'll have an 11/11, an 18/18, and another 18/18, all with trample.

I was thinking about Werebear for extra mana, and maybe Bearscape for tokens and even more bears. Ulvenwald Bear ? Anyway I love the concept, tribal decks are fun to play even if bears are not so powerful.

Hey, thanks for your suggestions!

I decided against Bearscape because this deck contains a few threshold cards (Werebear; Grizzly Fate), and also - do I really need more creatures at that cost?

Werebear is already included.

The problem with Ulvenwald Bear is, that it has little utility if I don't play a graveyard style deck, but I will include it in the maybeboard.

Now to Words of Wilding: I have decided against it, because if I include it I also have to include combo cards which aren't bear themed. I even found an infinite combo with it, consisting of Words of Wilding, Fecundity and Ashnod's Altar (yes, the sacrificed tokens trigger Fecundity).Another strong combo is Words of Wilding and Sylvan Library, but as mentioned, the necessary cards for these combos aren't bear themed and Words of Wilding alone isn't exactly powerful.

Those islandwalking Bears will be in the sideboard though.

Considerations would be Bearscape Words of Wilding Werebear and Ulvenwald BearMaybe try for a Morbid/Graveyard style approach?

Sideboard in Pale Bears and River Bear to dominate those pesky Merfolk xD

Ulvenwald Bear could be also a good alternative, since once a creature of yours dies it becomes a 4/4 for three. only not 100 percent sure if it would work with Muraganda Petroglyphs, since it technically has morbid.Caller of the Claw is also a good creature to recover after a big defense or attack.

TMBRLZ ok ima tackle these in order.

Dragon-Scarred Bear its ok but it'll be difficult for him to become relevant.

Ulvenwald Bear I like him, i need to fit him in somewhere.

Kamahl's Summons I am not a fan, because of the format, all decks will have at least 20 creatures so it will work too well for both players.

Razorclaw Bear 4 mana for meh not sure yet.

Grizzly Fate I like it, it would be fun to have, ill probably buy it and try it out.

Thanks for the input, Keep it coming!

I don't think Forest Bear is modern-legal. You should add Ulvenwald Bear instead of Ulvenwald Tracker.
