One of the advantages of Modern is that you can access a large pool of cards and find the most efficient option, but as a newer player those cards won't be necessarily known to you. That being said you have slipped into one of the bad habbits that most new players have; you aren't running 4x of any card in your deck, this reduces the consitency of your play. It might seem more interesting to have lots of different cards, but in the long run it actually hurts your deck.
Now you happen to have chosen the theme of -1/-1 counters and these haven't actually played a major part of magic that often. One of the earlier sets to play around with them was Eventide, it featured: Twinblade Slasher, Quillspike, Woodlurker Mimic, Cauldron Haze, Noxious Hatchling, Soul Snuffers, Wickerbough Elder, Deity of Scars and finally Necroskitter. That is clearly a lot of cards, it isn't exaustive and I'm not suggesting you use them all, but I hope you can start to see the options in the Modern format.
Every deck wants to draw cards, well from Shadowmoor there are two obvios cards that help you do that Dusk Urchins and Scarscale Ritual. More up to date now, one card I was surprised you didn't include was Obelisk Spider, which strikes me as a good fit, then again another spider also struck me as a good fit, this time from Journey into Nyx, if you want tio utilise your graveyard Nyx Weaver. The biggest baddest -1/-1 spell though came from Mirrodin Besieged Black Sun's Zenith.
This is just the start though, to give you a taste of what earlier sets might offer your deck. For now try to work out which cards you want to see in every opening hand and run four of them, then build the deck around those core cards. Good luck and enjoy brewing your deck.

So removals I'd do at this point are: Dark Ritual, Heroic Intervention, Primal Vigor, Twinblade Slasher, Creakwood Liege, Warped Landscape, Terramorphic Expanse, Golgari Cluestone, Golgari Keyrune
Your deck is also showing 2x crumbling ashes.
This would drop you to 36 lands and 9 mana ramp cards. That should be plenty with an average CMC of 3.3.
I don't like primal vigor with hapatra as it helps your opponents remove negative counters from their creatures. This may not end up being an issue for you in which case you may consider using it but I wouldn't start with it in the deck.
You are using a lot of infect so people are going to come after you just keep that in mind. Triumph of the Hordes would be a good addition to get wins out of nowhere.
Blowfly infestation and hapatra is an infinite combo but needs Parallel Lives, Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Grave Pact, Ivy Lane Denizen, Obelisk Spider, or any similar card you enjoy. Some of which you have in here but the other thing to note is the combo doesn't work when you have static anthems in play. It is just something to play around for the most part. I do prefer Kamahl, Fist of Krosa over Beastmaster Ascension.

I could totally see that working, I'll replace Cinderbones with Corrosive Mentor, and I can replace Twinblade Slasher with Coat of Arms. Thanks for the suggestion!

Keeping with the -1/-1 counter and wither theme I suggest looking into: Black Sun's Zenith, Blowfly Infestation, Twinblade Slasher, Virulent Wound, Winding Constrictor.
Any reason you didn't use any infect creatures?

Here's a few other 1 drop warriors: Glistener Elf, Tormented Hero, Twinblade Slasher, or Vampire Lacerator. Maybe one of those will work.

That deck feels like it's just starting, and that it's kind of budget? If not, there's a lot of cards i'd cut (if you do not know what to change for those in the maybeboard), like ;
Creatures
Advocate of the Beast
Centaur's Herald
Charging Badger
Eyeblight Assassin
Kozilek's Channeler
Skysnare Spider
Tajuru Beastmaster
Tajuru Stalwart
Territorial Baloth
Instant
- All instants (exception made of Second Harvest and Naturalize)
Sorcery
- All sorceries (exception made of Duress, Explore, Root Out, Disentomb and maybe Mental Vapors)
Now, what to add to replace all that?
Let's start with ;
Planeswalkers
Creatures (they are all elves!)
Eladamri, Lord of Leaves --> (I think it's legal to play)
Elvish Piper --> To get your threats on the battlefield at opponent's end of turn
Fauna Shaman --> To get those threats from your deck
Fyndhorn Elves --> Mythic mana rock!
Gaea's Herald --> Anti-counterspell
Jagged-Scar Archers --> to kill flyers
Llanowar Mentor ---> In case you topdeck too many lands, this is useful
Maralen of the Mornsong --> Useful since your deck has a low average mana cost
Nullmage Shepherd --> Reusable destroy artifact/enchantment
Oak Street Innkeeper --> Protection!
Oracle of Mul Daya --> Filtering, getting more mana in
Primal Forcemage --> Those tokens get better!
Realm Seekers --> Deck filtering, getting more mana, or just a big creature.
Reclamation Sage --> You NEED one.
Sylvan Advocate --> Most of the time, a 4/5 vigilance for 2 mana.
Sylvan Messenger --> Play an Elf, get more elves!
Talara's Battalion --> Easy to get on the battlefield.
Timberwatch Elf --> Another elf gets HUGE.
Voice of the Woods --> If your small elves can't get past... get bigger creatures.
Wolf-Skull Shaman --> Get tokens in!
Wren's Run Vanquisher --> 3/3 deathtouch for 2.
Instant
Krosan Grip --> A better, uncounterable Naturalize.
Beast Within --> Remove a threat for the board.
Back to Nature --> Since you do not run a lot of enchantments.
Collected Company --> Get 3 elves on the battlefield.
Consign to Dust --> Destroy some artifacts or enchantments.
Fresh Meat --> Board got wiped? Not quite.
Hunter's Insight --> Draw cards!
Noxious Revival --> Cast for 0 mana.
Sorcery
Genesis Wave --> Because getting out half your library when you have tons of mana to spend is awesome.
Overrun --> Major boost.
Artifact
Akroma's Memorial --> Now, all your elves are monsters.
Enchantment
Doubling Season --> Double your tokens and planeswalker loyalty counters.
Parallel Lives --> Another token doubler. Makes it 4x with doubling season out.
That's my first batch of suggestions to you. Hope it'll help!

Twinblade Slasher isn't legal in Pauper, though. And it doesn't really do anything special in an Aristocrats list.
That said, as much as Young Wolf does do stuff in my Aristocrats list, I feel it's the weakest card I have.

Young Wolf isn't like the best card ever though. There's better ones like Twinblade Slasher
