Hey, Skullclamp is one of the better repeatable die effects with Teysa since drawing 4 cards each time you equip to a creature for 1 mana is very good value. Skullclamp could replace Wayfarer's Bauble. The maybeboard is packed full of good cards that could be upgrades and there's several budget cards there to consider adding.

Other good budget cards with Teysa: Dark Prophecy, Midnight Reaper, Dreadhorde Invasion, Victimize, Ministrant of Obligation, Marauding Blight-Priest, Path of Ancestry, Witch's Cottage, Esper Panorama, Ash Barrens.

You need a way of untapping the priest and getting another 2 mana a cycle to pay for two creatures. It is not happening in mono black. It was somewhat possible with bontu's monument and a free sack outlet.

Without a free sac outlet the best you can do is Thallid Omnivore + 2x Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton + more plunderers or Open the Graves / Desecrated Tomb can make infinite mana. Vindictive Vampire or an X spell will win the game from there.

Priest is bad because it sacs two creatures and needs to tap. If you had access to things like Intruder Alarm and 2x Gravecrawler the priest would be useful for a combo. As is it is only a way of jumpstarting two mana to ramp into the real combo or a slow sac outlet.

Oh yeah; my biggest issue with this thing is that I went over 60 cards : (...

I can't figure out what's useless enough to drop in this list. Prob dead weight and broken Bond if I really had to but both those are one-ofs that I put in here for very specific reasons... Broken Bond can get rid of something 'and' if I play it early enough gets me 1 ahead on land. Only artifact/ enchantment removal in my main. Dead weight can kill their indestructibles so long as I can get them to X/2 for even one turn... Basically alternate-method removal which I've found to be necessary in many - though not all - games since GRN hit standard...

If anyone wants to tell me what to cut off this list, feel free. It's pretty bare bones now, coming from someone who's played it for a good while. And trust me; I 'can' see that damn ugly "62" on my card count. Just looking for two cards to sideboard. (Although if I'm being honest - I already cut 2 Thallid Omnivore AND a Slimefoot, the Stowaway and all 3 of those cards really deserved spot on this list too...)

Even if those 2 extra pieces are disgusting, which they are, I still suggest anyone trying to play competetive - and running a tight budget - to run this board once or twice. It's free (since you 'know' you have all these cards already lol) yet still mean enough to put in actual work in the current meta. Thanks again all!!!

Are you going for Orzhov or 3-color for you deck like Abzan? If you go Abzan you can do Aryel, Knight of Windgrace then make tokens. Thallid Omnivore then sacrifice tokens, gain life and make it bigger on your turn. Poison-Tip Archer as soon as you sacrifice those creatures your opponent take damage then use the health you gained on Vona, Butcher of Magan and make her a removal piece.

I think you can use Ravenous Harpy or Thallid Omnivore on your deck. Sacrifice and kill your opponent without attacking.

You might want to update your sideboard. Never / Return is no longer Standard legal. You may want to add Woodland Cemetery and Overgrown Tomb to help out your manabase. You may also want to add another sac outlet, such as Thallid Omnivore, Thallid Soothsayer, Arguel's Blood Fast  Flip, Ravenous Harpy, Undercity Necrolisk and some more Izoni.
