Ramosian Rally

Instant

If you control a Plains, you may tap an untapped creature you control rather than pay Ramosian Rally's mana cost.

Creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn.

Great idea for a deck!

I see you put in tons of ways to blink your Commander, but not many ways to actually leverage the advantage of having tons of goats in play. I would recommend adding in as many mass pump spells as you can to end the game with your Goat army.

A few suggestions: Guardians' Pledge, Inspired Charge, Righteous Charge, Ramosian Rally and Kytheon's Tactics are all relatively cheap and powerful pump spells for your team. There's also Marshaling Cry, Charge and Sanctified Charge if you want to go a bit deeper.

Wayfarer's Bauble is your main picture, but it is not in your deck. This would be a good inclusion.

You have a lot fo enchantment hate. Any particular reason why? You could be running more effective, broader removal instead, like Oblivion Ring, Faith's Fetters, Angelic Purge and Isolation Zone. Some of these can also be blinked or bounced to retarget more important permanents in the future. In terms of creature removal, Journey to Nowhere is an important piece you are missing. There are also many interesting Pacifism-style effects to choose from in terms of removal. It will also work well with your Commander's Chroma ability.

With all of your blink effects, I don't think you need to include any other protection spells. Something like Indestructible Aura just doesn't seem necessary.

Thanks Altoman for your comment and all the excellent suggestions. Gush has been recently banned in Pauper. Your suggestion for Ramosian Rally is excellent and I will see if I can find some copies of it. Your observation about Distortion Strike makes sense, but I’ve been thinking more about this deck and moving it towards mono-white. Have a look on my profile to see the new build and if you think it’s improved.

Nice deck. I really like the theme :)

I suggest replacing Taigam's Strike with Distortion Strike . I think that for three mana less its worth just being +1/+0 instead of +2/+0.

Also, maybe instead of Evolving Wilds you could put Fieldmist Borderpost to trigger more prowess for free.

Finally, i like instants with no cost like Gush or Ramosian Rally to trigger prowess. It always throws the opponent off and keeps them worried even if you are tapped out :P

21 Plains works, but you can add Secluded Steppe to cycle the flood every once and a while.
I guess Slash of Talons is more flavorful than Righteous Blow? I belive Sunlance is a better removal, but you can at least use them in the sideboard.Alley Evasion really benefits decks that have more ETB effects, you're better off with Gods Willing and Emerge Unscathed.
Expose Evil could be an upgrade to Djeru's Renunciation.
But, instead of that, let's captalize on the Griffin's Vigilance.Try Lashknife, Ramosian Rally and Orim's Cure

Guardians' Pledge was in the original version in place of Ramosian Rally. I still have yet to decide which I prefer. The reach that Guardians' Pledge gives is tough to beat but I get more protection from sweepers with Ramosian Rally. Unmake is one I hadn't even considered! I'll have to look in to trying it at least as a 1 of. Seems interesting! I like instant speed and the exile could definitely come in handy. Thanks!

I really like the deck and how it's built!I think that you've done a great job at creating this deck, you used the best life gain cards for pauper and took advantage of the creatures that follow the strategy using pump spells like Ramosian Rally. One thing I would consider when building a deck like this is that pauper doesn't have any payoff cards for life gain strategies. For example, the modern version of the deck runs Serra Ascendant and Ajani's Pridemate - both cards give an advantage that makes the life gain into an actual threat.Because the pauper format sadly doesn't have any payoff cards for this strategy, I think it's the best to go with a sub theme. Actually, your deck is almost fully themed with this in mind, in my opinion - tokens. Adding this so called "Flavor" to the deck will give you a more solid way to win, especially against decks like turbo fog that doesn't really care about your life total. You already have 6 token themed spells and 6 pump spells, you are already on this path! And lastly, I think it can be great to add a card like Lumithread Field or Veteran Armorer in the sideboard, maybe about 2 or 3 copies? Youres pretty heavy on the artifact and enchantment hate, so maybe a good idea would be to take out 1 Honorable Scout and 1 Patrician's Scorn.Again, I really like how you built the deck and enjoyed trying it out. What do you think about my suggestions? I'm curious to hear ;)

Icatian Javelineers are very meta dependent. They are either great or terrible. In the games that I sadly reach 4 mana, they make a great target to Enchant with Hopeful Eidolon. If they aren't working for you, replace them with the Souls, or perhaps a 2 power or toughness creature. Even Doomed Traveler is a decent choice if you're expecting a lot of Black or Red.

4x Battle Screech= worth it. Very good in so many situations! The only downside to this card is its monetary cost.

4x Triplicate Spirits= too much. Amazing when you can convoke all or most of the CMC, but terrible when you draw into it and have no creatures and few lands.

Ramosian Rally is amazing and great if you can keep surprising your opponents with it, but 8 pump spells has been too many in my humble experience? 6 seems to be the sweet spot, unless you're playing counterspell-heavy meta in which case I go up to 7. The problem is drawing into pump spells when just one more creature would have closed the game in your favor, which happens more than I like to admit.

Crimson Acolyte is immune to Galvanic Blast and Lightning Bolt not to mention Electrickery-- And can grant this immunity to another creature!

Obsidian Acolyte dodges Evincar's Justice, Crypt Rats, Doom Blade, and blocks Gurmag Angler for free!

The great thing about these two cards is that they are can help you go wide and be pumped, unlike the harder-to-remove Circle of Protection spells. Just be sure you don't play them into a situation that makes them vulnerable to Edicts.

Journey to Nowhere is almost certainly the best removal card in White for Pauper. Every once in a while you simply must get rid of a Fangren Marauder or a Thermo-Alchemist or something.

Suture Priest is great if you're expecting other creature matches, especially things like Elves or Goblins.

I've never had the luck to get 3 lands and Dust to Dust early enough for it to count against Affinity. I prefer Sundering Growth for that effect, hitting their blockers or lands early and helping me go a bit wider simultaneously.

In all cases, test for yourself and see what fits your style and experience better!
