All right Squee_Spirit_Guide. It's time for the build-around challenge! When I crafted the list for Balaam__ I hand selected things I believed would interest them.

And without further ado, I introduce the "Martyr or Magus" challenge? Will you pick...

So do these creatures intrigue you? We have plenty of options for building possibilities, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on other ideas if this falls short.

I do like Nostalgic Dreams a lot, man, if only I could play more cards. I just recently cut Seasons Past , which I would suggest for your deck if you have room. Another card for you might be Wild Defiance , but I think Season of Growth is generally better. I don't like Uncage the Menagerie very much, it's probably my least favorite card in the deck. I plan on testing Shared Summons , and if that doesn't work well I'll try Season of Growth or maybe Martyr of Spores because pump on a creature seems good.

First off Thrun should be at 4 in the main board. He does so well against control and dodges ALL removal.

Scavenging Ooze is arguably the best card in the deck and deserves to be at 4 because of it's constant increase of power. Also for the same reason Dryad Militant should be taken out because it interferes with Scavenging Ooze. Experiment One or Martyr of Spores could replace it.

Nylea, God of the Hunt is incrediby easy to get out and is a 6/6 indestructible.

Fauna Shaman is expensive but is a great replacement for Avatar of the Resolute, because it lets you tutor creatures from anywhere in your deck.

Garruk, Primal Hunter in my opinon is better than Garruk Wildspeaker

Hermit of the Natterknolls  Flip would also be a good sideboard add against control.

For Martyr of Spores- the fact that we have to show our hand hurts a little.

It won't often give more than 4, and we have 1 mana cards that give +4/+4, so this wouldn't be that efficient.
