Gorger Wurm

Creature — Wurm

Devour 1 (As this enters the battlefield, you may sacrifice any number of creatures. This creature enters the battlefield with that many +1/+1 counters on it.)

I did some digging cause my friend reminded me of the Devour mechanic. The only pauper legal card I could find Thorn-Thrash Viashino and Gorger Wurm. The devour mechanic can be amazing with this deck if you take it to modern because all the good ones are rare or mythic.

It's up to you to make your deck comp work, making sure you're running the right number of creatures/ramp/draw/removal/misc. So I'll just give you a list of cards that I think are generally weak, and you can make of it what you will.

There are also more wurms that you could run. Autochthon Wurm, Gorger Wurm, Havenwood Wurm, Roaring Slagwurm, Ruination Wurm, Shivan Wurm, and Witherscale Wurm could be useful enough to run. All would trigger the power 5 requirement of Where Ancients Tread

I'll try to snag the Sporoloth Ancient. he might work for what I was going for. I mainly need good sac outlets to sac the saprolings to to trigger Bloodbriar, it's why I splashed red for the Gorger Wurm

MULTIPLAYER meta

I've decided, amongst many uncommons that I've gathered up, that I'm going with Naya Battlemage as my commander, so I have access to the mana utility and beef it provides, some burn spells and loot effects as well as battle buffs and some enchants, and white for the overall utility in and out of combat.

I'm seeing two ways to build in the colors:

Any thoughts? I know it's a fairly new and untested format, at least at my LGS.
