Silance00 Damnation is a bit pricey, but you do have some cheaper board wipe options like Forced March , Gaze of Granite , and Mutilate .

Austere Command is relatively cheap (less the $5) and provides you with great flexibility as to what you want to destroy. Forced March could be very interesting is this deck, but is heavy on the black mana. A Day of Judgment will set you back just 2 or 3 bucks. End Hostilities is cheaper still and takes out equipment for one CMC more. Fumigate is the same CMC for $2. Another 5 CMC card is Planar Outburst and it is cheap!Nevinyrral's Disk is cheap, but takes a turn to activate. Then there's good old Akroma's Vengeance and Deadly Tempest can be had for $2 or less, but Extinguish All Hope is less and you also have Planar Cleansing, although it's heavy on the white mana.

Potential cuts Show

Archfiend of Depravity - Only really effective against token decks. 5 drops should be more impactful.

Lord of the Void - Costs a lot for an ability dependent on damage. 7 mana should be

Bane of the Living - With no other morph creatures, the morph part will be irrelevant as your group will know what it is. Moreover, you have more efficient kill spells

Marionette Master - Not sure what the purpose of him is, am I missing something?

Forced March - Much better removal (unless token decks are in your meta)

In Garruk's Wake - Much better removal, 9 mana should WIN GAMES, no clear boards.

Silence the Believers - I'm assuming this is the card you would remove for Vraska's Contempt? And 4 mana removal is pretty costly. Even though you can exile and potentially have multiple targets, I find it too costly. I understand your deck has some good ramping in there, but you should have a more efficient kill spell

Curse of Disturbance - Never help your opponents, even if it is a political card.

Other cards to consider Show

Imp's Mischief - Let's say you cast your commander for 20 and someone just counterspells. Well GUESS WHAT, they can SHOVE that counterspell into the graveyard because you can use imp's mischief to change the target of the counterspell to imp's mischief, leaving the original spell to resolve. It's also very political, and no one expects the black player to have it. Every black deck should have one to deal with blue. Speaking of blue....

Mana Web - Something to maybe consider depending on how much blue you have in the meta. This with urborg makes opponents think twice between holding up a counterspell or advancing their board state (barring mana rocks and dorks). It's saved me many times.

Bitterblossom - Bodies for defense against early aggro and flying. Also works very well with...

Contamination - Because who needs friends? Also see reassembling skeleton

Okay here's the obvious weak links:Deadeye Harpooner: Fine card, probably would be better as something like Fiend Hunter, though (there's a combo with Ayli).Disciple of the Vault: I think your artifact theme is a lil light.Encampment Keeper: If you want an anthem, you are probably better off with a legit lord or non-creature anthem effect. If you want to go the lord route, you'd probably need to go more tribal. Also there's definitely other 1 CMC monstros that would give you some boost.Master Trinketer: Probably a bit too slow. Fine card, though.Solemn Recruit: Little off the main goals of the deck. Good card, though - maybe also consider Mirran Crusader if you want this kind of lad?Battle at the Bridge: Definitely would need stronger artifact theme for this to be actively good. It's fine, it's just not actively good. One potential option is Profane Command?Chaplain's Blessing: This sort of lifegain tends to be bad. Maybe consider a triggered source? Depending on budget, Sword of War and Peace seems good. Sylvok Lifestaff too. Even Inspiring Cleric from Innistrad (which also gives you a body for Ayli).Shadows of the Past: Seems okay but maybe something a little cheaper for a powerful effect? Spirit Bonds might be sick here.Decomission: I think there's probably better alternatives for artifact/enchantment destruction.

Obvious omissions:Lingering Souls is INSANE.If you want to go the token route, you may want to consider anthems (Spear of Heliod, Glorious Anthem, Mirror Entity, Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit), as well as other powerful token makers (Secure the Wastes, Sword of Body and Mind, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Monastery Mentor).For removal, consider sweepers (Slaughter the Strong, Forced March, Black Sun's Zenith, Retribution of the Meek) as well as the really strong point removal (Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares) and the really cheap removal that's considerably worse (Vendetta, Smother, Ulcerate) and the more flexible removal that can hit everything (Vindicate, Anguished Unmaking).

Mother of Runes is sick.Sacrifice outlets have a few obvious combos in Fiend Hunter, Mesmeric Fiend and Tidehollow Sculler.Orzhov Signet is good.Card draw is good. There's not a lot of good card draw in BW. I would suggest Skeletal Scrying or maybe Damnable Pact.Finally, gots to have some way to interact with graveyards (people DEFINITELY use them in the format). Bojuka Bog is the standard. People often rock Tormod's Crypt and Relic of Progenitus too.For mana base, maybe Orzhov Guildgate, Scoured Barrens and Forsaken Sanctuary as well as Caves of Koilos and Orzhov Basilica (a sick combo with Bojuka Bog). More expensive options are Godless Shrine, Isolated Chapel and Shambling Vent.

For mass removal, no. For single target removal, there are better single target removal. Abhorrent overlord is fine for late game but Eater is not good enough IMO for late game combos

If you want mass removal, try In Garruk's Wake, Crux of Fate, Forced March, Life's Finale, Necromantic Selection

Ok, changes made: In Garruk's Wake in, Forced March out. Palace Siege in, Macabre Waltz out. Liliana of the Dark Realms, Dread, and Graveborn Muse are in, and out go Death Denied, Dutiful Return, and Foul Renewal. Lands in are Vesuva and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for Subterranean Hangar and a Swamp.

That's where Volrath stands for now. I think I will be adding a Thespian's Stage in the future, as well, and I will keep looking into the other suggestions the more I play it and see how it works out. I hope that I haven't pushed my mana curve too high for it to be consistent.

If you think I should have subbed something different, please offer up more suggestions!

Metallic Mimic pairs well with Adaptive Automaton

Ascendant Evincar seems too expensive but not terriblesame with Dread Slaver

Helldozer is slow, but if he comes online he seems legit. you'll probably need to test him out in your meta.

Scourge of Nel Toth is just too expensive for my taste, but hey he is a flyin' Zombie..I could see it getting cut in favor of a more efficient card.

Diabolic Tutormy least favorite tutor, should be replaced by a more efficient one, like Vampiric TutorDemonic TutorBeseech the QueenRune-Scarred Demonor any other one. There are probably 8 more I can't think of right now. BtQ being one of the budget option.

You have a lot of life loss but I am not seeing life gain, consider cards like Whip of ErebosExquisite Bloodor any other cards that have lifelink tacked on them.
