Nothing wrong with taking something established and adding a personal touch to it. And that’s the card I was trying to remember, Virulent Plague—I wanted to suggest that but it eluded me.

I think it’s better than Boarded Window here, but still not ideal. Artifact removal is way more common so Virulent Plague has the card type working in its favor, and it does away with that self exile stuff too. The only issue is that at 3 cmc you’re already heading toward a win/loss scenario at that time, and it may not have much impact beyond that point.

Either way, I’m glad you mentioned it so I don’t have to scour the card lists looking for it.

Balaam__ I can't take credit for this. I was googling combos with hunted creatures and stumbled upon this on mtg top 8. I took some of their ideas. I like Boarded Window because it keeps me alive and it's colorless. I don't like tackling more than 2 Mana colors at a time and this helps my Mana curve be more forgiving. I could probably add Virulent Plague in its place

I like this new iteration. Lots of interaction and backup. I think Boarded Window could be replaced with something else, it doesn’t really pull its weight for the cost. Maybe some counter magic like Spell Pierce or even Surgical Extraction or something.

This sort of deck usually uses some amount of for Blood Seeker, Trespasser's Curse, and/or Illness in the Ranks. This deck in particular also has eleven blink effects, but only really wants to blink Hunted Phantasm. I recommend cutting most of these and adding more protection and ways to win.

If you want to stay in , Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse help prevent attackers, and Boarded Window and Cumber Stone reduce damage. Just note that your damage output will be slowed, so you'll have to find ways to stay active.
