Stonehoof Chieftain maybe.

A cute trick with Ikra's ability : Lightning Greaves (or another zero equip cost) + Angelic Protector. Equip the greaves back and forth infinite times then attack to gain infinite life.

Slightly off topic... Angelic Protector . If you have those Lightning Greaves and one other creature out you can equip infinite times for infinite targeting/toughness then attack and do damage based on toughness.

So i love that this card Bounty of Might says target on it 3 times so that immediately made me think of heroic and Agent of the Fates but heroic doesn't work like that so I had to search the key words "becomes the target" and what I found was very disappointing. There's only a few cards I liked paired with it and the following cards are

• Willbreaker
• Silverfur Partisan
• Horobi, Death's Wail
• Angelic Protector

So I compiled a list, but now, how do we make it better?

The first combo I have is Assault Formation, Angelic Protector, And Bounty of Might.

That's cool hitting someone for 20. That's perfect if this wasn't Cmdr. But we can do better then that?

So my question to you is, with Bounty of Might saying target on it 3 times, what card or cards do we use to maximize this cards potential? Also is that combo I showed you cool? And would you try that combo in other formats?

Take any one creature from groups 1 and 2 to achieve a super-massive life-total.

Group 1: Nomads en-Kor, Warrior en-Kor, Shaman en-Kor.

Group 2: Angelic Protector, Daru Spiritualist, Task Force.

Use your commander to sacrifice a creature with infinite toughness to gain infinite life. Then all you have to worry about is commander damage.

@ Holtzman Sorry for delayed reply, I've been super busy helping organize and run local events lately and am doing a poor job of upkeeping tapped out replies haha. You are correct, since this was a cleric flavor tribal deck I avoided the use of Task Force or Angelic Protector. Now, I certainly acknowledge their usefulness if our goal is to outright aim for infinite life - and with kaladesh out I should point out that Aetherflux Reservoir is another win con for life gain style decks. The incremental, non-storm esque life triggers are even relevant in trying to tempo ayli past 50 life (I say non storm to acknowledge a storm decks ability to stack the triggers from holding priority for an increased boost in life gain).

Are you not using Task Force , Angelic Protector because they are not a cleric? It is a replacement for Daru Spiritualist in your combos

Angelic Protector has flying, but couldn't they just chump block your Daru Spiritualist and Task Force?

Shuko or Umbral Mantle also equip for 0. Nahiri, the Lithomancer is useful and she provides a 0 equip token. Angelic Protector and one other card (forgot name) also give unlimited defense with 0 equip items. Not sure how many cards you would be willing to apply to that particular combo.

Sun Droplet and Recumbent Bliss are pretty good at fighting off damage.

If you want to sac creatures get a Preacher (Umbral Mantle combos nicely here if you have a sac outlet).
