Hey! Ok so War Games. Let's see where to start. You make a deck of 60 cards with your leader be your 61st (or 62nd if they have partner). Your deck follows the same color and card restrictions as commander. No cards outside color identity and no more than one copy of any card except basic lands. Your leader can be any legendary creature or planeswalker. This makes a lot of fun deck building options because not only are cards like Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip and Orochi Eggwatcher can be your leader even though they're not typically legends by EDH rules. You can also use a bunch of Un-set cards as well! You start a game with 25 life and your leader in the command zone. If your leader is cast from the command zone, then it gets a point on it. When it gets destroyed you may send it to the command zone. If it is, then the next time it is cast it gets a second point. When a leader has 3 points on it, then it can no longer be retuned to the command zone (unless by card effect). In which case it is, it can't be played from their again. Now, while a lot of planeswalkers and legends are legal to play in my format, there are some that are restricted or "banned as commander". A good example is Jace, the Mind Sculptor . He is restricted and therefore can not be used as a leader. However, he can be played in the 60. That about covers it. Any questions you have, I will gladly answer them. So, whatcha think??
Ouroboros_47 on Question about helm of the …

So let's say I equip Helm of the Host to Ormendahl, Profane Prince does helm copy it as the prince or as Westvale Abbey Flip?
Second is what about a flip card like Shidako, Broodmistress does it copy as the broodmistress or as Orochi Eggwatcher if it was attached while as the broodmistress? What if it was originally on the eggwatcher but the eggwatcher was flipped?
Gidgetimer on Kamigawa flip cards - state …

There are two distinct ways the cards can flip. Most have a triggered ability of some sort such as Akki Lavarunner (triggered abilities start with "when", "whenever", or "at"). Some have an activated, like Budoka Gardener, that flips it if something is true at the end of the ability's resolution. Either way both types of abilities go on the stack and can be responded to. The only thing you can't do is try to do something in the middle of the activated ability. Like you can't allow Orochi Eggwatcher's ability to make a token and then try to Chandra's Fury to keep it from flipping.

Yes, Illusionist's Bracers works with Kaseto, when equipped, you can either target two creatures with its ability or target one to give +4/+4. It essentially doubles the amount of times you can activate it in a turn. It also works with Orochi Eggwatcher, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and Sakura-Tribe Scout.

Ohran Viper is a clever snek, if you need more of those.
Honored Hydra is a big snek, if you need more of those.
Orochi Eggwatcher makes many little snek, if you need more of those.
Prowling Serpopard is a resilient snek, if you need more of those.
Skullwinder is a political snek, if you need more of those.
I love the poison counter sub-theme. Very cool deck, sir!
TheKing8426 on Budget EDH - Mono Green Snakes

Womokos, I wouldn't recommend you cutting snakes while keeping the deck mono-green. The weak point of the deck is card draw, which is inherently helped out by the Commander. It is only when you switch the Commander that you need to find card slots to put in more card draw. Blue is the card draw colour, hence the taking out of snakes to play cantrips such as Ponder or Preordain.
If you did want to cut snakes while keeping the deck mono-green, I would say that the weakest ones, in my opinion, are Orochi Eggwatcher or Shisato, Whispering Hunter. However, they still allow you to draw cards while Seshiro is out, so it's debatable whether to take them out or not.
The fun of Commander, to me, is tuning a deck to you and your play style. While I personally think this deck is very good, it is just my take on it; I encourage you to make changes as you see fit!

if you are going for the tokens strategy like Oviya is encouraging, I'd recommend the following changes:
recommended remove:
Chancellor of the Tangle - a single mana turn 1 isn't worth it in the long run
Elvish Mystic - land untappers work better
Fangren Marauder - you won't be destroying too many artifacts
Llanowar Elves - same as the mystic
Orochi Eggwatcher - sacrificing creatures won't get you as far as other cards will
Scorned Villager Flip - you can have better mana dorks
Ashnod's Altar - unless Helix Pinnacle is your end all be all
Basalt Monolith - its only an instant gain, and you don't have a way to cheat it untapped
Birthing Pod - you don't have a great curve to work with
Krark-Clan Ironworks - you don't have many artifacts, and even with oviya, you net loss mana
Moss Diamond - bad mana dork
Trading Post - you don't have a good way to abuse it
Lure - its not going to do as much as you think
Evolving Wilds - run another Forest
Terramorphic Expanse - same as above
the recommendations:
Voyaging Satyr - untap target Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
Arbor Elf - when forests give you multiple ...
Bear Umbra - another sword
Sword of the Animist - reliable land fetch
Kodama's Reach - another Cultivate
Green Sun's Zenith - nice tutor
Dryad Arbor - tutor with zenith x=0
Garruk, Primal Hunter - more tokens and card draw
Seedborn Muse - best untapper available
Rude Awakening - would be funny with oviya
The Great Aurora - reset the game
Wave of Vitriol - non creature board wipe
Emerald Medallion - cast for cheaper
Kazandu Tuskcaller - great token maker
Hornet Queen - unstoppable bees
Hydra Broodmaster - monsterous for massive
Decimator of the Provinces - another craterhoof
Ant Queen - cheaper token maker
Druidic Satchel - utility
Primeval Bounty - utility
Omnath, Locus of Mana - store mana
Druids' Repository - store mana
Budoka Gardener - big token maker
Squirrel Nest - synergizes infinitely with the following
Earthcraft - untap and retap for more squirrels
Concordant Crossroads - put your creatures to work
Wolfbriar Elemental - multikick tons of wolves
Terastodon - major removal
Song of the Dryads - universal removal (great on commanders)
Desert Twister - universal removal
Lignify - great for locking a commander
Bellowing Tanglewurm - basically unblockable
Fresh Meat - anti boardwipe
Panglacial Wurm - hilarious to pop out
Nissa's Renewal - ramp and life gain
Rampaging Baloths - landfall for a beast
Akroma's Memorial - great buff
Command Beacon - cheap recast of commander
Ezuri's Predation - boardwipe with an upside
Defense of the Heart - pop out great creatures free
Siege Behemoth - attack through blocks
Primal Command - utility
Courser of Kruphix - lifegain and lands off the top
Oracle of Mul Daya - lands off the top
Mirri's Guile - fix topdecks
Cryptolith Rite - creatures to mana dorks
Wolfcaller's Howl - multiplayer wolves
Arachnogenesis - anti-attack token maker
Hall of Gemstone - anti multicolor
Sylvan Library - better Mirri's Guile
Thought Vessel - great mana rock
while many of these cards may not be budget minded, they are cards to strive for both for future iterations of this deck and other green based decks you make.
