Jegantha, the Wellspring

Legendary Creature — Elemental Elk

Companion — No card in your starting deck has more than one of the same mana symbol in its mana cost. (For example, you cannot have Kitchen Finks in your deck but you can have Carnival / Carnage) (You may reveal this card from outside the game before you start and declare it as your companion. If you do, your deck must follow the companion's restrictions. You may pay to put this companion from your sideboard to your hand at any time you could cast a sorcery. This action can't be interacted with or countered. You may only choose one companion for your deck before the start of each round.)

: Gain . This mana can't be spent to pay generic mana costs.

Omg Burning-Tree Emissary into this seems awesome... literally the only reason I haven't been running that card has been because I have been so used to running Jegantha, the Wellspring.

For a fun one, Jegantha, the Wellspring and Progenitus.

Or how about going with Sliver-geddon and running The First Sliver and Sliver Overlord.

Or, because Urza, Lord High Artificer really needs access to all five colors, run him with Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch

Or perhaps you're just an evil person and you run Sakashima the Impostor so you can get a second Grand Arbiter Augustin IV on the battlefield.

Another pairing for those who hate their friends would be Maralen of the Mornsong and Ob Nixilis, Unshackled.

If you wanted, you could get access to black and make Kynaios & Tiro the "secret general" by running Jodah, the Unifier as commander and Jegantha, the Wellspring as companion. In addition to getting access to more manlands, another benefit to this is being able to use Jegantha to pay for manland activations.

You can’t have Muddle the Mixture in your deck if Jegantha, the Wellspring is your Companion, so one of those have to go (i don’t think Jegantha, the Wellspring is offering you anything useful so i’m not sure why he’s here, bit also if you’re running counter magic you’re better-off with Counterspell or Spell Pierce).

I still see no benefit to Igneous Inspiration and it should really be anything else.

I really think your mutate package should be including a playset of Parcelbeast… that card feels stronger than all these other cards you’re running - and might actually help ramp you somewhat.

Here are some ideas for your deck:

-You won't be able to use it as your companion, but Jegantha, the Wellspring will be a helpful ramp card for the deck you're building.

-Bonfire of the Damned can help knock down an opponent's battlefield and feed into Zaxara, the Exemplary.

-Unless you're willing to find a spot for Ramos, Dragon Engine you may be better off replacing Door to Nothingness with Mayael's Aria. In part because of the activating cost, and in part because if the game stalls out Mayael's Aria is more likely to get you a win in a multi-player game.

I hope this helps. Thank you for reading me out. Happy Hunting.

Would require some rework but having Jegantha, the Wellspring as a companion could be interesting
