Wort the Raidmother and X spells

Say I play Burn from Within where X is 4, would Wort, the Raidmothers conspire ability copy the X cost as well? Or do I need to pay additional mana for the copy?

Yes, it would copy the X as well. You don't pay any mana - the spell is just copied.

The reason this works is that in all zones except the stack, the X is defined as 0. So when you copy the spell, it will take into the X value you set for it when casting it, because the spell is still on the stack.
