When are SBA's checked?

Do state based actions get checked in the middle of something resolving?

I want to know because I'm working on a mono deck and want to know if I can bounce Master of Waves with Supplant Form, and not have the first set of elemental tokens die halfway through the resolution of the spell.

State-based actions check whenever a player would receive priority (before a player does receive priority). They never check in the middle of something resolving.

Your Master of Waves and Supplant Form interaction works just fine.
