Vehicle Crew Cost Interaction with Sword of the Paruns

Hi,

If I equip Sword of the Paruns to a creature with power 2 for example and try to crew a vehicle with crew cost 4 will Sword of the Paruns +2 count towards the crew cost and crew the vehicle succesfully or will I need additional creatures?

From the rules of crew, 702.121a, “Crew N” means “Tap any number of untapped creatures you control with total power N or greater: This permanent becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.”

From this, it reads that the power requirements of the creatures is calculated before they are tapped - that is, the power buff from Sword of the Paruns won't apply to the crew cost.
