Triple Casting Combo?

After seeing hamiam's Triple Casting combo deck, I got a question. For those of you that may not know, the combo is when you have a Blistercoil Weird with a Dual Casting.
Would it be an infinite combo when you use it on Seething Song or other ramp like Pyretic Ritual?
Heres Is how I think It would work: You cast Seething Song, then tapping 1 to copy it. Let the copy resolve, untapping the Weird, then use the mana from the spell to tap it again copying the original one, still on the stack, and reapeat for infinite mana/ power and toughness on the Weird.
Does this work?

Blistercoil Weird's untap ability has nothing to do with spell resolution. It triggers on casting.

It would not go infinite. The copies are simply put on the stack and are not cast, which means that Blistercoil Weird will not untap. If a copy is cast, the text on the card making the copy will say so a la Isochron Scepter.
