Shroud and hydras

Hello

I have a question about Steely Resolve . Let's say that I use that card and chosse the type "Hydras". Then, I play a Kalonian Hydra . The next turn. if I attack with it, does it trigger it's effect, or not?

Yes. Kalonian Hydra 's ability does not target, and is not affected by Steely Resolve , just like how nontargeting spells like Wrath of God can kill Gladecover Scout .

Spells and abilities don't target unless they specifically use the word "target" in their text. Untargeted spells and abilities can still effect things with shroud, hexproof, protection, or other effects that prevent targeting.
