Yes, this works.
Jodah's ability lets you replace the mana cost of a spell with an alternative cost. When you fuse a split card the mana costs on each half get combined to become the total mana cost of the spell, and any alternative cost allowed by some other effect (including "cast without paying the mana cost") will replace the whole thing. In your example the total cost of the fused Catch//Release is replaced with .

Yes you can; if you have something that triggers when you cast a sorcery spell and you cast both halves of Catch/Release, it only triggers once - thus making both halves only one spell.In conclusion, you may pay WUBRB with Jodah to cast both halves of Catch/Release.
