How would this scenario end.

I cast a Skullcrack. My opponent responds with Cancel or some other similar card. I responded to that with a 2nd Skullcrack. With all of this on the stack. Will the first Skullcrack resolve because of the 2nd's "Damage cant be prevented this turn".

Countering a spell isn't preventing the damage, theres a large difference

Damage not being preventable doesn't stop the first skullcrack from being countered. Preventing damage is caused by things that say "prevent" and "Damage", countering a spell does not fall into this category. The first skillcrack is countered, the second resolves perfectly fine (though of course the first spell to resolve in the 2nd crack)

Ok that's how I thought it would turn out. My opponent thought that his counter was in a sense countered. Thanks for clarification.
