How does Myrkul work with Enchantments that become creatures?

Asked by 11epicnoob 1 year ago

I'm currently working on a Myrkul, Lord of Bones Enchantments deck, and I found a Hidden Spider which made me wonder- If the Enchantment became a creature and it died then Myrkul made it into an enchantment, would the Hidden Spider be capable of becoming a creature again?

Yes, that works. When the token copy's ability triggers it will see that it's currently an enchantment, so it will turn into a creature.

If you haven't seen them already, there are several more "Hidden" enchantments in Green from the Urza block expansions (Urza's Saga, Urza's Legacy, Urza's Destiny), as well as "Opal" enchantments in White and "Lurking" enchantments in Black. There were also "Veiled" enchantments in Blue but of course those won't work for your commander deck (if that's what you're doing).

I am aware of all of the Opal, veiled, Lurking and Hidden cards, wasn't sure if the triggered ability of them would activate
