Heroic with Brave the Elements

If there is one creature Favored Hoplite as an example and I cast Brave the Elements would the heroic trigger happen?

No, because Brave the Elements does not target. Spells and abilities only target if they use the word "target", either in the text of the spell or implicitely (such as Auras which are being cast). Brave the Elements does not target any creatures, and so does not cause heroic abilities to trigger.
