Grim Monolith + Forsaken Monument Combo?!?

I saw a guy post his colorless deck online and he stated that grim monolith (NOT BASALT) + forsaken monument = Infinite Colorless Mana. He said that monolith produces 6 mana, not 4 when combined with forsaken. This doesn't make sense to me. I've been out of MTG for 4 years now so perhaps I'm misunderstanding how the rules work. I don't see that combo online either. Can someone tell me if he's right or wrong?

No, this doesn't work. Forsaken Monument only adds a single extra when you tap something for colorless mana, not one for every colorless mana you add. Grim Monolith just produces 4 mana in this example, not 6.
