Getting "buyback" cards out of the graveyard late-game

Asked by The_Potato_Judge 3 years ago

If a spell with the buyback mechanic, like Disturbed Burial or Invulnerability ever becomes able to be played from the graveyard---not via flashback, but in a manner like the ability from Dreadhorde Arcanist , or Mission Briefing , and I pay the buyback cost as I cast it, what happens?

I doubt that it it exiled, because it doesn't go to the graveyard.

Would the card go to my hand from the graveyard as part of its effect?

the card would go to your hand, but not "from the graveyard". it'd go from the stack to your hand.
