Erebos, Bleak Hearted and Birthing Pod

If I’m using Birthing Pod to tutor for a four drop creature and my devotion to black is less than five, can I grab Erebos, Bleak-Hearted?

While it's in your deck, Erebos, Bleak-Hearted is a creature and can be found with Birthing Pod. Once it's on the field, if you your devotion is below five, it will not be a creature.
