Does Dream Halls allow me to cast cards with no mana cost?

Dream Halls allows casting spells by discarding cards to pay if they match a color. could i cast a spell like Profane Tutor or Wheel of Fate with it by discarding a card that shares a color?

To be more clear: Empty/non-existent mana costs can't be paid, but Dream Halls's ability circumvents the mana cost on the spell entirely. This is a similar principle to how the Suspend ability on cards like Profane Tutor etc. is able to work in the first place.
