Does Dockside Extortionist, Temur Sabertooth, and Sakashima's Protege make infinite mana+cascade if opponent has 9+ artifacts/enchantments?

If the total amount of artifacts and enchantments your opponents have is 9 or greater, then what i think you can do is: have Dockside Extortionist and Temur Sabertooth out. Play Sakashima's Protege, which makes you cascade. you get something that costs 5 or less, doesn't matter what. then you have sakashima enter as the extortionist, making nine treaures. you then sacrifice 2 of those treasures to bounce sakashima back into your hand, pay 6 to play her, leaving one treasure left open and repeating the process. sakashima could be replaced by any card that enters as another creature, she just has the added bonus of cascading.

I'm pretty sure this works, but there might be something i don't know about the rules.

just realized that Sakashima's Protege copies something that entered THIS TURN. not all hope is lost though for infinite cascade. if you play the extortionist and sakashima on the same turn, on the second rotation can you then target the sakashima that left the battlefield that was an extortionist? esssentially, since sakashima BECOMES that permanent, can you copy sakashima with sakashima (since it doesn't specify that the permanent has to still be in play, it just had to have come into play that turn), and since the first sakashima was a dockside extortionist, create an exortionist?

That requires Dockside Extortionist to have entered play that turn, but not for you to control it, and can be done at instant speed. It would also only require 8 artifacts/enchantments to repeatedly cascade. If you do control Dockside Extortionist you can make infinite mana at sorcery speed as long as your opponents control 5 or more artifacts and/or enchantments by just bouncing the extortionist. You can then spend that mana bouncing and replaying anything, including Sakashima's Protege.

Sakashima's Protege van only copy a permanent, which implicitly requires the object to still be on the battlefield as it enters. It also doesn't target, which is relevant for things like protection and shroud.
