Does Hanweir Militia Captain Flip flipped and creating the token cause Oketra's Monument to trigger a token?

When Hanweir Militia Captain  ^Flip is flipped and puts out a token, does that token trigger Oketra's Monument to create another or is it that you're not actually casting a creature rather it being a triggered ability?
