Does Ancient Greenwarden cause Confounding Conundrum to trigger twice?

Asked by JoyTheEnbySliverLover 2 years ago

Ancient Greenwarden 's triggered ability states "if a land entering the battlefield causes a triggered ability you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time" which an opponent's land triggers Confounding Conundrum which is under my control and states "whenever a land enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, if that player had another land enter the battlefield under their control this turn, they return a land they control to its owner's hand".

Does the Ancient Greenwarden 's triggered ability apply to Confounding Conundrum 's triggered ability or not? I'm not sure so I want to asking before doing anything with the potential combo.

Yes, you're only required to control the permanent, not the land. Ancient Greenwarden + Confounding Conundrum works.

Polaris Thanks for answering yet another question of mine. I am very happy to hear that both the interactions work. They are definitely going in my simic deck now.
