Does a Kinnan activation trigger Tidespout Tyrant?

Hi I was wondering if I activate Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy and play a creature off of him would it trigger Tidespout Tyrant to bounce something?

No, it would not. Kinnan does not cast the creature, he simply puts it onto the battlefield. If an ability casts a spell it will specifically use the word "cast" or it will use the word "play" (as a verb) if it can cast spells or allow you to play a land for turn. Isochron Scepter, Knowledge Pool, and Bolas's Citadel are examples of abilities that would trigger Tidespout Tyrant.

No.
When you "put a [card] onto the battlefield," it does not count as "playing" a card or "casting" a spell. Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy will trigger "whenever a creature enters the battlefield" effects, but not cast or play effects.
