Cloning Merieke Ri Berit

If I use Spark Double to make a copy of Merieke Ri Berit, can I then Clone and/or Vesuvan Doppelganger the copy? Seems to me that either could be okay because no Legendary creature involved. Bob
Yes, if you copy the Spark Double, any further copies will not be legendary. Taken directly from the rulings on gatherer:
Spark Double isn’t legendary if it copies a legendary permanent, and this exception is copiable. If something else copies Spark Double later, that copy also won’t be legendary. If you control two or more permanents with the same name but only one is legendary, the “legend rule” doesn’t apply.

Yes, any copies of the Spark Doubled creature will also not be legendary, though they won't get the extra counter.
