Cliffhaven Vampire and Life Gain

If I have a Cliffhaven Vampire on the field then cast a Paraselene does my opponent lose 1 life point per enchantment destroyed?

As I understand it each separate instance of life gain sets off Cliffhaven's passive ability, allowing multiple triggers. I gain 1 life for each enchantment destroyed, so as each enchantment destroyed would separately gain me 1 life my opponent would lose 1 life for each point I get.

No, that is not how it works.

Cliffhaven Vampire triggers once per source of lifegain and Paraselene is just one source, no matter how many enchantments it destroys.

If it helps, you can think of Paraselene's text as "gain x life, where is X is equal to the number of enchantments destroyed."
