Can Twinning Staff copy Riku's Clones?

If I copy a creature with Riku of Two Reflections while Twinning Staff is out, do I get two token copies of the copied creature?

riku doesn't create a token copy until after the creature enters the battlefield, at which point it's not a spell. so the staff doesn't trigger since you're not copying a spell.
