Can i have two legendary creatures?

okay okay, so i get that you can't have two planeswalkers on the battlefield at the same time with the same sub type eg. two jaces or two elspeths

but what about legendary creatures, i know you can't have two Medomai the Ageless but what about one Medomai the Ageless and one Isperia, Supreme Judge they're both sphinxes

and what about two legendary creatures that don't share a sub group like Isperia, Supreme Judge and Geist of Saint Traft ?

If a player controls two or more legendary permanents with the same name, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners graveyards. This is called the legend rule.

So yes, you can have a Medomai the Ageless and an Isperia, Supreme Judge as they don't have the same name. The Legend Rule doesn't care about their Subtype, just their name as opposed to the Planeswalker Uniqueness Rule.

Only the planeswalker uniqueness rule cares about subtypes. The legend rule cares about legendary permanents and their exact English names. You can have two Sphinxes. You can even have Isperia the Inscrutable and Isperia, Supreme Judge at the same time. But if you control two Isperia, Supreme Judge s, you need to put all but one into their owner's graveyard.
