Bruna and bestow

Asked by swkelly89 9 years ago

when i attack with Bruna, Light of Alabaster can i attach Eidolon of Countless Battles to her if its in my hand/graveyard?

No. Eidolon of Countless Battles is only an Aura if it's on the battlefield, was cast for its bestow cost, and is still attached to something. In all other zones and at all other times, it is only an enchantment creature, not an aura. It has no interaction with Aura-specific effects.

It's also an aura while on the stack I'm pretty sure (if being bestowed, that is)

Although if the Eidolon of Countless Battles was already on the battlefield, bestowed onto a different creature, you could attach it to Bruna, yes?

@KingSorin: That's correct. Unfortunately, it has no interaction with Bruna from the stack.

@Named_Tawyny: Also correct.
