Asceticiem and Menace

Does Asceticism prevent Menace? If an opponent attacks with a creature with menace or has an enchantment that gives menace, will Asceticism prevent that ability?

I know this sounds like a very simple question but I'm still a noob trying to figure out all the rules. Thank you.

No. Menace does not target anything. A spell or ability only targets if the text of that spell or ability uses the word target.

Menace just means that a creature can't be blocked except by two or more creatures. Asceticism doesn't do anything that interacts with that restriction.
