Anafenza Triggers

Does Brave the Sands keep Anafenza, the Foremost 's ability from triggering? Because the vigilance doesn't cause creatures to tap...
Nothing will stop the ability from -triggering- except preventing Anafenza, the Foremost from being declared as an attacker. When it triggers, the only valid targets are "creatures you control, which are tapped, which are not Anafenza, the Foremost "
If no such targets exist, the ability will be countered by the game for having no legal targets, but it very much DID trigger.

When Anafenza, the Foremost attacks, her ability triggers. This ability can target any creature you control that is tapped. Other creatures you control don't tap to attack with Brave the Sands giving them vigilance, so Anafenza, the Foremost couldn't target those creatures because they aren't tapped.
