Hello there! A few weeks ago i bought my first deck, a budget soul sisters, and was playing since then. Last saturday i played a two headed giant tournament with a friend and while didnt went wrong against expensive ones, the games where so slow that we barely played 1 and a half games in the hour designed to play best of 3. Thing is i want to improve it a little bit and i dont know what path should i take. My current deck have this cards:

Plains x20

Soul Warden x4

Soul's Attendant x4

Squadron Hawk x4

Ajani's Pridemate x4

Suture Priest x4

Kor Skyfisher x4

Celestial Flare X4

Raise the Alarm x4

Honor of the Pure x1

Catars Crusade x1

Spectral Procession x4

Fortify x2

Chalice of life/death x1

My pocket cant afford thing like serra ascendant or ranger of eos so here are my budget options to improve it a bit.

Option 1:

(Focus on the chalice)

Martyr of Sands x4

Chalice of Life  Flip x4

Brave the Elements x4

Kabira Crossroads x4

Rogue's Passage x1

Serene Steward x2

Lone Rider  Flip x4

Sky Hussar x1

Option 2:

(More aggro oriented)

Brave the Elements x4

Lone Rider  Flip x4

Kabira Crossroads x4

Rogue's Passage x1

Not Forgotten x2

Oblivion Ring x3

Odric, Lunarch Marshal x2

Precinct Captain x2

Spirit Bonds x2

Westvale Abbey  Flip x2

Here odric is good combo with evolved Lone Rider and the hawks or the spirits and the ajannis

What do you think?

So with what you've got right now, you don't really have any solid ways to win the game quickly, which you've already pointed out is a problem.

There's a couple of things that you can do to mitigate this, the first of which is bump up the number of anthem effects that you're playing to make your tokens into threats. Glorious Anthem, Intangible Virtue, Honor of the Pure, things like that. Maybe dedicate like 4 or 5 slots in the deck to those.

Your option 1 that you posted is also a fine budget route, but it can be super slow especially if you don't have a team mate (so a 1v1 game).

Personally, i'd jam some number of the new card Aetherflux Reservoir as a win condition. It's fun and can be highly effective, even in a 2HG game.

I saw the Aetherflux Reservoir but is something like a double edged sword, if the other palyer has something to endure that damage im done. Felidar Sovereign maybe?

That works as well, but it's actually just more fragile than the reservoir because the opponent will always be packing more removal for it.

definitely add the Martyr of Sands in. also what deck can survive an aetherflux shot besides another sister deck?

Angelic Accord is fun and flavorful.

Suture Priest is another great card for soul sisters, try it out.

Fleetwood-Mat

That card is already in the original deck. Pro tip: read all of posts.

The aggro version would be something like this:https://deckstats.net/decks/74815/586427-b-w-soul-sisters-oderich?saved=1&lng=es

You could go the humans route adding: 4x Thalia's Lieutenant 4x Champion of the Parish 2-4 Doomed Traveler (good against wraths and dies to give you a flier), go up to 4 Precinct Captain and 2-4 Hanweir Militia Captain  Flip also Oblivion Ring are versatile and inexpensive removal and Return to the Ranks helps against the red matchups. Lone Rider  Flip is a good potential piece as well.

consider cutting the skyfishers, Raise the Alarm, honor of the pures, fortifies. Also, the spectral procession and celestial flares should be sideboard items.

You're bad matchups are infect, afinity, and anything with a ton of board wipes.

I've been playing the human version of soul sisters on mtgo with some decent success. Good luck with this, and let us know how you do.

You can get a pretty cheap R/W version featuring Norin the Wary and Genesis Chamber, maybe with some Purphorous, God of The Forge tied in. R/W lands aren't all that expensive, there is Battlefield Forge, Inspiring Vantage, and Clifftop Retreat.

I'd go deeper on the token/anthem route, with 4x Honor of the Pure, add Lingering Souls and maybe Doomed Traveler.

It's the nature of soul sisters and why it's my least favorite deck in the format. Basically it's lose to an opposing deck 20 times in a row but keep reviving until one of you is tired of playing.

I would just add in a temporary finisher such as Hero of Bladehold until I could afford the more expensive options.

shaftdiggity Most of those are soldiers, so Preeminent Captain would work beautifully. Congregate is stupid.
