I'm trying to build as good of a standard deck as i can utilizing cards like Daemogoth Titan - cheap, overpowered card that makes a good target for my tend the pests Wurmcoil Engine - good board wipe, tons of damage, usually ends games Tend the Pests - My main/secondary win condition, sac my titan for 11 pests Serrated Scorpion -creatures that like to die Murder <- or other better removal

Could someone build me a good decklist with this main idea in mind? i'm not too up to date with the last 8 or 9 sets so i'm not sure what other cards are out there that can help me. as a bonus - if you could link a modern version of the deck as well that would be amazing to

Welcome to the club, Atomic_Spider!

First question: Are you building for Standard or Modern? I'm going to assume Modern, based on your card selections, and I'm going to further assume a fairly generous budget.

Better removal: Abrupt Decay , Maelstrom Pulse , Thoughtseize , Assassin's Trophy

The two main issues with Daemogoth Titan are a lack of evasion and a lack of protection. It's got a great stat/MV ratio, but it's vulnerable and can be chump blocked all day. So I suggest adding Rancor and Veil of Summer or Heroic Intervention to your list.

Look on this site and elsewhere for BG Midrange, since that's a reasonable fit for what I think you're trying to do. You can search decks by categories, known on here as hubs.

Given you're playing in Modern:

Jund Titan seems like a fun build. You'd play 4x each Utopia Sprawl , Arbor Elf , and Ignoble Hierarch maybe with a couple Birds of Paradise . All of your lands should tap for green or black, as you're splashing red for Temur Battle Rage and Thud , possibly Lightning Bolt as well.

An optimal play would be

  • Turn One Arbor Elf

  • Turn Two Utopia Sprawl, tap it and untap the sprawled land for 4 mana, drop Titan

  • Turn three swing with titan and use either TBR or Thud to pull a turn three kill.

Otherwise, you'd be trying to play Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek on top of your ramp to get a turn four kill, backed with interaction.

You get a lot of power from Grisly Salvage digging 5 cards deep for a titan, and also just swinging with titan a couple times typically wins the game if you can use 's great removal suite to keep the board clear.

It probably won't be top tier by any means, as Path to Exile and Thoughtseize easily trash your fast kills, but it should work.

Just adding a thought - the theme here from some of the cards you mentioned is sacrifice. So I would think this could be a deck where the likes of Mayhem Devil could strive.

As a rough concept, something like:
