I feel that Soothsaying is an underrated card that could be quite useful in the proper deck, but 5 mana to shuffle one's library is a very high price to pay, in my mind, so have made a new version of that card, one that is also a creature, simply to give it additional utility, as seen, below.

I was contemplating making this card cost only , as that is the cost of Triskaidekaphile from the upcoming Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, but I feel that that is too low of a cost for a creature with so much utility. I know that scrying is better than the ability of Soothsaying, but I feel that, with how much more powerful cards have become, overall, in recent years, that is an acceptable instance of power creep. I do believe that 4 mana is still too high of a cost for shuffling one's library, and that 3 mana is perfectly acceptable, but, when combined with the first ability, it would be too powerful for only 3 mana, so I made it cost 4, instead.
What does everyone else say about this card? Do you like it?

In that deck it is very powerful, but I think it's ok in general. It's at a weird spot rarity-wise. It's not exactly splashy, but it should be at least rare, I think.

The reason for the original Soothsaying to have an ability - costly might I add - to shuffle the library is because its peek ability cannot throw away what is on top of your library. It feels out of place on a card that has that ability included already by Scrying instead of merely looking and rearranging. Why do you need the ability to shuffle? Because you tucked away something you now want a chance to get? That seems like it's just covering Scry's only "weakness".
I would remove the ability to shuffle, maybe make it into a 2/3 and call it a day.

I think that would be acceptable. For a Standard legal set I think this can only possibly be printed at rare due to its limited impact to filter your draws - unless the entire set is very filter heavy and fluent. But for Modern legal sets it could be uncommon and whatever in Commander, as rarity doesn't mean anything but the number of deck lists in the product it is featured in.

I like the design, it's pretty on point. Changing the ability to Scry X is a big power-up, as I mentioned regarding Crystal Ball. Eligeth, Crossroads Augur is drooling all over this card, and both Ormos, Archive Keeper and Atemsis, All-Seeing could become very cool cards in that deck.
