Wulfgar of Icewind Dale + Amorphous Axe + Harmonic Prodigy

Enjoy having 3x the attack triggers on everything.

Enjoy having 18 mana that doesn't empty as steps and phases end.

Enjoy having three additional combat phases after this one.

Enjoy EXILING THE TOP SIXTY CARDS OF SOMEONE'S LIBRARY

Wulfgar is now, without a doubt, my #1 favorite Commander in the whole game.

Lithoform Engine and Strionic Resonator also work. If you happen to be fortunate enough to have all of these set pieces out and can pay both Engine and Resonator, you can copy all attack triggers 4 additional times, meaning 5 triggers in total for each source.

There are even ways to have extreme mana explosions. Savage Ventmaw isn't the only creature who keeps your mana safe. Grand Warlord Radha, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Leyline Tyrant, and Omnath, Locus of Mana all do this also. You can also untap and then re-tap all of your lands multiple times during combat to add 2x, 3x, 4x or even 5x the mana with Bear Umbra. And if Wulfgar connects with Sword of Feast and Famine, that's even more mana. If you happen to have something that gives you additional combat steps, such as Aggravated Assault, you can go infinite.

If you really want to, you can pair Strionic Resonator/Lithoform Engine with Rings of Brighthearth for another activation of each. While you can't copy melee, you can copy the thing that's copying melee.

That being said though, Aggravated Assault + combat mana just seems a lot easier. Call me jaded, but if you're copying combat triggers that many times you probably should have won already :P

Tell me, TypicalTimmy, how much do you love that commander? I'm not sure I've properly understood it ;)

Also, after posting the two on your other thread: If you didn't include Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma in your Wulfgar yet, you really should. Momo at worst doubles the total amount of combat triggers you get in a turn, and dropping 2+ lands per turn in Gruul is more than easy. Goreclaw is a repeatable Overcome that makes Wulfgar cost less.

There's exactly one reason I decided against building Wulfgar myself: I'd have had no reason to ever tune neither Momo or Goreclaw again, and I really don't want to be in that situation as both are near and dear to my heart.

Is your list up here yet?

agreed Wulfgar of Icewind Dale is amazing, but i have him in deck and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient as the commander
i should try a couple games with wulfgar in the zone, since he works amazing with other cards in my deck like Grand Warlord Radha, Utvara Hellkite, o and my favorite work around for stax Rubblebelt Rioters

If you’ve got big creatures and extra mana, Melee can be pretty devastating. It costs 5, so it’s not free, but if you get a second (or third) attack it can be... disruptive ;p

Use Maskwood Nexus instead of the axe to get even more triggers off of everything with the prodigy.
