hello ! :D i was wondering, is there a place in edh for Cloudpost , Wastes , Dromar's Cavern or Desert ? and with place i mean a GOOD WORTHY use xd (no extraplanar lens combos pls) pd: i love you all <3

I don't know about the lairs, returning a land to your hand is a pretty big draw back.

Gidgetimer: Nobody ever said the Lair-lands were "good", but they are a budget option for 3+ color decks... although griffstick's idea of utilizing them in a Landfall deck makes a lot of sense..

Metroid_Hybrid: I realize that no one said that they were good. Maybe I should have articulated my point a little better. The tempo loss from returning a land to your hand I feel is so bad that not only would I put The tapped tri-lands (Arcane Sanctum) above them, I would also rather play Rupture Spire, Transguild Promenade, Archway Commons, Gateway Plaza, Path of Ancestry in even a non-tribal deck, the vivids (Vivid Creek), Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, panoramas (Esper Panorama), tapped 2 color lands, and even Ravnica bounces since they make 2 mana. Even as a budget tri-land I feel they are outclassed by a mile.
The point about a landfall deck is a good one though, assuming that you are generating enough extra land drops that you are limited by lands in hand.

Cloudpost and Glimmerpost, with Vesuva and Thespian's Stage. With griffstick's suggestion of Orvar, the All-Form, some stuff like Hidden Strings, Capsize, and Replication Technique, you get a pile of blue ramp jankosity.

I am a fan of Hideaway lands, and a few utility lands, myself.

i actually run desert in one of my decks. It's not that impressive but it has made a difference in some games where attacking wasn't ideal because of the extra damage added to blockers. It's really there for Scavenger Grounds but has its uses if your deck can afford some colorless lands!
Dromar is bascially a budget land, cloudpost is nuts if you can reliably spam copies, havinga single wastes to fetch for in a multicolored deck that utilizes colorless mana isn't bad either. My friend has a grothama deck with a bunch of eldrazis and runs some wastes just incase of nonbasic hate.

With the exception of Wastes, I don't think there is a way of actually using Extraplanar Lens here, much less a combo..
Dromar's Cavern (and the other "Lair" lands) would function just fine as a budget tri-land.
The others could just be filler lands in a -deck. As was necessary before the printing of Wastes in OGW..
Finally there are a few "Deserts-matter" cards that were printed in AKH & HOU..
