Infinite Golem Potential (EDH)

Commander Deck Help forum

Yo, so I figured out this neat combo between Feldon of the Third Path , Tuktuk the Explorer , some sacc outlet, and some untap outlet.

You basically use Feldon to copy Tuktuk in your graveyard, then you sacc the copy to create a 5/5 Goblin Golem, then you untap and repeat the process to create infinite golems.

Obvious outlets would be Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar since they provide more mana to abuse Feldon's effect.

Problem is, I don't know where to go from here lol. There's so many types of decks and color combos that can def take advantage of this and I don't know what to choose.

Just wanna know tho, is the combo worth anything or am I just talking out my own ass?

Be aware that the Goblin Tokens are legendary and u must sacrefice all but one.

Ah shiet, I didn't see that part.

It's okay tho cuz I found out that Triplicate Titan exists. The dream can still live.

Obviously depends on what deck you are running it in.

Liquimetal Coating + Clock of Omens lets you keep Feldon as the commander. Otherwise, I think you have to go into .

Intruder Alarm and Wurmcoil Engine are higher-budget options for untapping and tokens.

Wait, does creating a token copy of a creature with an ETB trigger the token version's ETB? If so, I may also want to go the R/W route with all the ETB Golem artificers and white anthem effects.

Unless, if I use Sakashima, I can pair him with Akiri, Line-Slinger to grant me access to the white side of artificing.

Was also thinking of maybe using Akim, the Soaring Wind as a Jeskai commander. Gives all my golems double strike and provides a little birdie the first time I make a golem.

Yeah, you get the ETB with the token. Coercive Recruiter is an example of a card you could use with Feldon that actually satisfies the untap requirement as well. Although, I use it with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker .

It's also hard to go wrong with cards like Myr Battlesphere . That gives you 5 tokens total to sacrifice for stuff.

Feldon's combo potential is pretty well known.

Aye, will def look into mr. Battlesphere man as well.

If that's the case, then Im surprised that Feldon is pretty cheap given how popular he is and how potent he can be.

Feldon keeps getting reprints in commander decks, so supply is high and price is low.

Then consider me extremely grateful for that lmao.

Gives budget players a neat card they can go infinite with.

Ah. Then I am glad that Coercive Recruiter is cheap as well. It's hilarious to make several copies on one turn and go nuts.

If the plan is to recycle creatures with Feldon, then equipping him with Thornbite Staff seems like the easiest solution. Then you can copy cards like Myr Battlesphere (as was recommended earlier) and just run Phyrexian Altar . This will make an infinite number of battlespheres that all have haste.

Similarly, you could use cards like Impact Tremors to win on the spot with any loops that don't net gain you creatures or mana (so in a combo with something like Priest of Urabrask and some sacrifice altar).

Ooh Priest of Urabrask and Thornbite Staff look fun. I already made a rough draft of the deck, but your suggestions are gonna be very helpful for refining it.

Thanks enpc!
