I enjoy using Dina, Soul Steeper. However she is so week that my play group just attacked her before I can really use her ability. Is there a card or a way to protect her from being targeted by my opponents creatures so I can utilize her ability better?
Assuming it is. Cards like Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots are great tools to help protect your commander from targeted abilities and spells.
Generally speaking I find Dina is more effective for her first ability than she is for her aggro. Though you certainly can make her more explosive

Black and green have ways to keep their creatures active, from something like Abnormal Endurance to Golgari Charm to Heroic Intervention on the spell side, and cards like Asceticism or Horror of Horrors on the permanent side. Hexproof, regenerate, and indestructible are all ways to keep your commander around, and specializes in surviving anything.

There are some old spells, like Regeneration, that could also make her more resilient. Do not forget the old ways lol
