Testing the Tested —July 23, 2017
I pulled Samut, the Tested from a booster pack, and I think she fits here pretty well. Her +1 is great, her missing self-protection isn't a big issue here as the deck is filled to the brim with creatures, and the ultimate is ridiculous if it ever happens. Dropping Surrak, the Hunt Caller and Boldwyr Intimidator out of the deck is very powerful.
I also included Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, as it gives me more options to put +1/+1 counters onto my creatures for Bramblewood Paragon.

Your suggestions are great. I already thought of champion of rhonas, especially considering how awesome he is with axe. The other champion really is a powerhouse.
Combat celebrant is cool, but i especially like den protector. I never thought of that one.
Hamletback goliath might be a little too slow. The snake is nice, and i know how easily he can handle two flyers at once.
I didn't even know ruric was a warrior. That one will have to go here i guess.

First of all: awesome name! Pochahontas is a fucking classic! Second of all, very cool deck. It's got speed and power - the alpha and omega og gruul! Kudos to you, man!
A few possible suggestions:
Creature heavy, as this is, I think Champion of Lambholt could do some good work for ya.
Champion of Rhonas gives you free guys.
Combat Celebrant... sells itself.
Den Protector is fierce and gives some much needed recursion.
Hamletback Goliath might be costly, but he is insane!
Matsu-Tribe Sniper might be small, be does well by protecting against demons, andels, and dragons.
Ogre Battledriver is a free battleaxe for everyone.
And Ruric Thar, the Unbowed is straight up monstrous!
By no means are all these must haves, but I thought I'd mention them, as they help me greatly in fleshing out my warrior deck: Warrior at heart.
