Imagine this card with an orochi in the art... —Sept. 19, 2017
Now that my finisher creature has trample and is a four-of and I do have two Kaseto, Orochi Archmage to make my creatures unblockable, Rancor doesn't seem too necessary anymore, so I dropped it. I didn't want to add any other creatures, so I decided to include two Hunter's Prowess. It's a powerful card at a point in the curve where I don't do much else, and it also fits flavourwise as it's a pump spell that draws cards (similar to Seshiro).
I also like to imagine the art containing some orochi warrior that charges into battle.
All these are enough reasons for me to include the card and try how much it will be able to do for the deck.
