"Jhoira's Ultimatum"

Formats: printable | .txt

Jhoira is SCREEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMING. SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE!

This deck trades flexibility in the "Jhoira isn't in your hand yet" situation for absolute dominance when Jhoira is. Get a eventide/clout-of-the-dominus.jpgClout of the Dominus or tenth-edition/robe-of-mirrors.jpgRobe of Mirrors on her quickly, and then commence beatings.

Looks like fun, nice idea with suspending the ultimata.

i like the idea. some cards that could make it better are time-spiral/paradox-haze.jpgParadox Haze and time-spiral/clockspinning.jpgClockspinning

Yeah, I tried both of those during playtesting. Paradox Haze was bad because it costs 3, which puts it smack in the same mana range as Jhoira herself, which is bad. Plus it slows me down by a turn to cast it, although it is of course excellent once I get it out (unless something bad is happening during my upkeep, which can happen)

Clockspinning just doesn't do enough. Getting rid of a time counter for one is not a good enough card to keep in, and repeating the effect for four just costs too much.

Paradox Haze is definitely the card to go in, if anything, but I'm not sure what I'd remove it for. Maybe Swerve, but that's a good defensive card.

i would remove the timebugs and maybe niv-mizzet, but that'll be your call.
