you could run Ancient Gold Dragon because it can very easily achieve jetmir's max buff with its damage trigger, and because it's a damage trigger double strike would allow you to essentially double the amount it creates (even though it's 7 mana), and Cryptolith Rite to use your tokens as an alternative source of ramp

Goldberserkerdragon First off, knock that lord shit off, lol. Secondly, I first uploaded my kamahl deck 10 years ago; so just lots of deck cycles and feature queues over the years and getting lucky that people actually like it.

Goldberserkerdragon kamahl was the first legendary that I ever pulled from a pack. I have a lot of sentimental value when it comes to him, and I just really like the mechanics of the card. I had quit playing magic for several years when I went to college, so when my friends heard of commander, my first thought was,"I have a badass legendary creature!"

The first iteration of the deck was made with whatever random green card I had in my collection at the time and it was awful. But I fell in love with the format and saw kamahl's potential and started doing research and eventually transformed it into the beast it is today.

Kamerot Word man, that's awesome. The myriad stories of how we all become players, the bonds we make, the commanders we fall in love with--it's poetic almost. My first commander was Krenko, Mob Boss and I still operate and maintain him--turbo fun--makes all the bodies you want. I tried Kamahl once as an Animation deck. Turns out it's pretty difficult to justify turning all your lands into creatures that can die, even with mass land recursion spells such as Splendid Reclamation, Gaea's Will, etc. lol. I really like the Living Lands, Life and Limb, and Nature's Revolt cards but even Yedora just makes it oops combo.

Goldberserkerdragon I love krenko, excellent choice for a first commander. And yeah, I've never been a huge fan of animating my own lands, i will usually reserve that ability for responding to board wipes, making sure an opponent has 3 creatures for defense of the Heart, and to get more nacatl war-pride tokens. Kamahl's Will has been my go to if I need to animate my own lands for any unique opportunities.

Kamerot Right on, makes sense. the Will is a funny move! Regardless, good decks all-around Kamerot. Love competent and passionate builders/players. I feel a lot of the community is clogged with newbs that just get upset over everything/commander--lots of newer untuned or bad decks out there! But I digress... Good chatting mate!

This deck is a lot of fun! What do you think about Cathars' Crusade to really get them shaking? And Rhythm of the Wild because counter spells are obnoxious lol Very well done!
