SO i have only one question rn cuz im lazy AF. why are you not playing Ghalta, Primal Hunger, its AMAZING in this deck

i would say its pretty much strictly better than khalni hydra.

I happen to disagree with soggy. I think if you want ghalta in the deck, it's perfectly fine to swap out a gaea or pellaka wurm. I personally don't like either of them but the hydra can drop for free and free spells are always good shit

CheapBastard I agree, plus my deck functions more off CMC than it does the power of its creatures. Ghalta in the sideboard also doesn't seem too relevant.

Thirsty4Mana yeah I can see ghalta not being too important. Your deck cares about the devotion more so the hydra is a great fit that I would not suggest taking that out at all. If anything, I think another copy of it would be nice. But that can bog down the deck a bit so I think what you have now is perfectly fine

ahahahahaha hellow fellow druid I must say I absolutely love what you did here. After glancing over your list I can tell the worst card is the voyagins Satyr, IMO you would do better with an elf. I also recommend a single genesis hydra in the main, works great paired with primal command. I also think Castle Garenbrig is kinda free, at least the first copy is. Now ontu the sideboard, mystic repeal is an awesome new piece of technology from the new set. Shaper's sanctuary is another good one. Finally, reclamation sage I think is superior to the ooze and thragtusk absolutely deserves a spot. Good luck :D

Chang-Oz thanks for the feedback! Can you give some examples of what would be better than Satyr? I always felt like she was a good untapper and could untap nykthos which made her valuable. I disnt even know about that special land but that seems awesome.

Sure! It's not like the satyr is bad or anything, but 2mana dorks must be something quite special to really pull ahead of 1mana options. If the satyr's been working out for you then leave him in, but personally I would run a llanowar elf. The best 2mana options for monoG are Devoted Druid, Wall of Roots and Leafkin Druid, well, the best is Rofellos but I fear someone will hit you across the chin if you choose to run him at your FNM :P Again, if you're confortable with the satyr then thats likely the better choice, it's just the weakest stand alone card on the list

To answer your question I'd take out a Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig.

I like Voyaging Satyr for Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.

I might think of removing the 2x Overgrowth and put in two Thragtusk. Because burn is gonna be a hard matchup. You get life and a great blocker!

DC_Geno I worry about taking out Overgrowth only because it could slow my ramp. The deck does decently against burn thanks to Primal Command and Bond of Flourishig. I wonder if adding Thragtusk woud throw off my curve.

I feel like Bond of Flourishing needs to go. When I play tested this deck the card was just too slow.

Maybe drop 2 for Thragtusk

GoblinElectromancer I feel like adding 2 5 drops would mess up the curve. Bond is rarely dead for me IRL and helps tutor win cons and counter burn.
