Welcome to the 8th Extreme Budget deck, a WUBRG Tribal deck that is based around a fun but not often played Commander, Horde of Notions . In this deck, you wield plenty of Elementals to do your bidding, from the tiny Festercreep to the towering Walker of the Grove . In addition, this deck doesn't only use Elementals to help its cause, but also those who are willing to make sacrifices, such as Tymaret, the Murder King and Ooze Garden , mana creation centers, such as commander sphere and Market Festival , and lastly, returning triggers for when Horde of Notions brings creatures back to life, such as Faces of the Past .

This deck has four main types of cards: Elementals, Sacrifice, Ramp, and Enter.
  • Elementals: The tribal element of the deck, if you'll excuse my pun. Most of these Elementals are either a) sacrifice fodder, b) enter triggers, c) rampers, d) tribal guys, or e) all-around useful creatures.

  • Sacrifice: cards that get my creatures into the graveyard form the battlefield quickly, cheaply, and efficiently. Also, all of these effects are repeatable, to help me consistently throughout the long game.

  • Ramp: All cards that generate mana, and all of them generate mana of every color, to ensure that no matter what, Horde of Notions is castable and its ability is usable.

  • Enters: Only a few strong, these cards benefit you for returning your Elementals to play, or jsut casting them normally.

  • Blazing Hellhound : Both an elemental and a sacrifice outlet, with a decent body as well.

  • Cinder Elemental : A creature with a great self sacrifice ability to use multiple times.

  • Faces of the Past : With Smokebraider , Horde of Notions ' ability becomes only 3 mana.

  • Fertilid: Fixes and ramps mana. Again. And again. And again.

  • Jalira, Master Polymorphist : Creature advantage instantaneously.

  • Ooze Garden : Again, creature advantage, just not instantaneously.

  • Smokebraider : Turn 3 Horde of Notions , and easy mana fixing.

  • Thicket Elemental : Creature advantage in the fodder, not the outlet.

  • Timbermare : Bring in to stop an all-out attack on you.

  • Tymaret, the Murder King: A sacrifice outet that (almost) never goes away.

  • Wolfbriar Elemental: AS you can see, creature advantage happens quite often.
